Meet Raechel Salis. Not only will she get your business accounts in order, Raechel will also teach you how to set up good routines, double-check your data and point out areas where you can save money and precious time. Her specialty is working with start-up businesses and ‘rescue jobs’ – saving clients from bookkeeping disasters.
With more than 30 plus years’ experience in accounting, Raechel Salis looks after businesses from Fremantle to Mandurah, covering a diverse range of industries such as engineering, hospitality as well as other businesses looking to succeed.
Raechel started working at 15 and soon discovered she enjoyed working with numbers and accounts. She wanted to know how the system worked and where the data went, so she completed certificates and training in bookkeeping as well as on-the-job experience. She spent 15 years working in her father’s engineering business, which gave her a good understanding of all aspects of business from an early age.
This mix of practical, real world training and study helped shape Raechel’s knowledge. The attention-to-detail approach and natural curiosity still applies today, with Raechel’s understanding the nuances of both large companies and small businesses. She’s also been involved with ASIC, ATO, GST and superannuation audits.
Starting her own business has been an opportunity for Raechel to share her knowledge and focus on helping other businesses grow and get ahead. She is a member of the Australian Bookkeepers Network, The Institute of Certified Bookkeepers Member and various local business networking groups.
She’s not just about bookkeeping – when Raechel’s not crunching numbers she’s spending time with her family, fishing or just relaxing on the boat at Mandurah.
Our bookkeepers are required to fulfil four standards – education, experience, testing & training;
Minimum of Cert IV in Bookkeeping
Minimum 5 years’ experience
